Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, revealed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is Dubai’s top trading partner in the Gulf and the Arab world, and the fourth globally, with trade worth 15.22 billion dirhams, representing 4.7% of first-quarter trade.
His Highness explained that the 2.7% growth in Dubai’s non-oil trade for the first quarter of 2017, totaling 318 billion dirhams, demonstrates the effectiveness of the services we provide to our trading partners.
In a series of tweets on his official Twitter account, he said: “Mohammed bin Rashid’s vision helps us overcome global challenges by supporting development based on creativity and innovative solutions that bring happiness to our partners and our society as a whole.”
Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that they remain committed to supporting the UAE’s economic diversification strategy and strengthening our trade ties with all friendly nations to achieve further shared successes.
