International Real Estate Exhibition launches at Dubai International Center

The 10th edition of the International Real Estate Exhibition for Real Estate and Industrial Properties, which will be held in conjunction with the Annual Investment Forum from April 8 to 10 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center, will attract about 300 companies from 80 countries around the world. The exhibition is organized with the support of the Department of Land and Property and the Real Estate Regulatory Agency in Dubai as a leading regional platform in the real estate industry and a meeting point for real estate developers, investors and companies operating in the real estate industry regionally and internationally. In its tenth edition, the exhibition is supported by more than 80 prominent media organizations.
Local and international participation
Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, said that the real estate sector in the UAE and the region is growing exponentially. Bin Mejren expressed his pleasure that the UAE is leading the real estate renaissance in the region thanks to the vision of local and regional real estate companies that adopt the best industrial practices followed in the world. His Excellency said that the growth rates of the real estate sector in the region are promising as we are on the path of a pivotal era in the real estate sector in the region. He stressed that the exhibition is an ideal platform that attracts elite real estate development companies as well as real estate brokerage companies and investment companies and that the exhibition provides a quality opportunity to establish partnerships that benefit real estate companies, end users and all stakeholders in the sector.
He pointed out that the UAE is a key pillar in this real estate growth, praising the large investments made by local and regional companies, of which the UAE receives a large slice due to the development of the sector in the country and its infrastructure, which is among the best not only in the Middle East and North Africa but also globally.
The International Property Show will be the best ever since its inception. This is thanks to the significant recovery of the sector in the UAE. The organizing committee has so far registered 60% of which 60% will be from real estate developers and the remaining 40% from sectors related to the real estate sector.
Engineering and investment companies
The show recorded an increase of 25% in one year. Real estate developers from across Europe, Asia Pacific and North and Southeast Africa participate in the International Property Show. Companies include developers engaged in the development of residential communities, high-rise buildings, entertainment facilities, retail outlets, financial institutions, banks, investment companies, pension funds, asset and fund management companies, economic development and regional development authorities, investment zones, building engineers, interior design firms, engineering companies and investments.
It is noteworthy that DLD supports the organization of the International Property Show, which attracts all the world's real estate industry leaders, decision makers, government groups, and others. The exhibition witnesses a series of pioneering deals that significantly enrich the local industry, as the last edition witnessed the unveiling of 12 leading projects in the region from important real estate companies. According to the organizers, the next edition could see a double or more number of new projects in the region.

Dawood Al Shizawi, CEO of Strategic Exhibitions and Conferences Organizing Company, the organizer of the exhibition, said: “We expect local and international participation in the International Property Show, especially as it is the first edition after the announcement of Dubai's victory in the Expo 2020 lottery. The specialties of exhibitors at the 10th edition of the International Property Show will be distributed among 18% for hotels and leisure establishments, 17% for commercial companies, 15% for residential projects, 15% for offices, 13% for retail, 12% for real estate development authorities, and 10% for free zones.
