For his part, Dr. Faisal Al-Sharif, Director General of SCTH, inspected the tourist accommodation facilities in the central area of Makkah to determine their readiness and preparations for the Hajj season as part of the seasonal control plan emanating from the strategy of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, which works to develop the hospitality industry in the Kingdom in harmony with the comprehensive national development plans and the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
