With a total area estimated at forty-four million square meters, the Developer Services Center “Itmam” has obtained approval for 45 development plans from the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, adding at least 150,000 housing units that will help meet the needs of citizens in a number of regions across the Kingdom, distributed across several cities, provinces, and districts of the Kingdom. A comprehensive development plan for the city of Riyadh, covering an area of approximately 150,000 m², has also been approved.

In this regard, Mohammed bin Saud Al-Ghazwani, General Supervisor of the “Itmam” Center, explained that the approval procedures were completed in record time after real estate developers submitted all the necessary documentation for those plans. He noted that the projects are distributed across (Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, the Eastern Province, Asir, Jazan, Al-Baha, Tabuk, Al-Qassim, and Hail.)

Al-Ghazwani highlighted the fruitful collaboration among the partners of the “Etam” Center from various relevant entities to achieve the objectives for which the center was established: to overcome all obstacles facing the approval of housing plans across the Kingdom, as the center and its partners strive to contribute to increasing the supply of housing units and making them available to citizens at affordable prices.

It is worth noting that eleven projects have been allocated in Makkah, seven in Madinah, and six others in Riyadh, in addition to eight projects in Asir, five in the Eastern Province, and six in Al-Baha. Two plans have also been approved in each of Tabuk and Jazan. The “Etmam” Center continues to finalize the approval procedures for thirteen housing project plans in a number of provinces across the Kingdom.
