The control and monitoring teams in the off-plan sales and leasing program “Wafi” recorded 37 violations during their monitoring tours on a number of private sector projects to verify the application of regulations and controls related to the regulation of the activities of real estate units on the map in the housing market, including 10 cities across the Kingdom during the past six months, and the program approved the licensing of 7 projects for sale on the map inside and outside the Kingdom.

In a related context, the Off-Map Sales and Leasing Committee recently approved the issuance of seven licenses for off-plan marketing and sales projects inside and outside the Kingdom, as the government body authorized by law to license and regulate off-plan sales and leasing projects issued by a decision of the Council of Ministers.
