With the participation of 60 specialized companies, the Saudi Export Development Authority successfully concluded its participation in the 44th Baghdad International Fair, currently being held from October 21 to 31, Saudi participation spanned various sectors and was praised by visitors, businesspeople, investors, and Iraqi citizens alike, as the pavilion stood out for its excellent organization and warm reception within its halls.

Visitors, who flocked to the Kingdom’s pavilion in remarkable numbers, noted that the pavilion’s offerings reflected the stature and strength of the Saudi economy on the one hand, and the high quality and reasonable prices of Saudi products on the other, which gave them an edge with the Iraqi public.

Mazen Al-Jasser, Director General of Corporate Communications at the Saudi Export Development Authority, explained that the Authority took into account the Kingdom’s 27-year hiatus from participating in the exhibition, and therefore was keen to make a distinguished appearance that reflects the depth of the friendly and distinguished relationship between the two brotherly countries, rises to a high level befitting the Kingdom’s economic standing, and keeps pace with the economic renaissance our beloved country is witnessing, noting the Authority’s participation in this year’s Baghdad International Fair, which is held under the slogan “Industries that transcend borders and bring peoples closer,” explaining that this slogan represents an economic, political, and social message to the Iraqi people, signifying that the Saudis are coming to foster rapprochement and cooperation between the two countries.
