After a strong competition, the Supervisory Committee for the elections of the 20th session of the Board of Directors of the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced last night (Wednesday) the victory of 12 candidates out of 40 male and female candidates in the list of merchants and industrialists, to form the new board of directors and run the work during the period 1439 to 1443 AH.

The order of the winners in the merchants category is as follows:

The Supervisory Committee had announced that the number of voters amounted to 2,831, while the total number of votes amounted to 10,391.

The electronic voting machines closed at 10 pm, signaling the end of the electoral process, after which all the halls on the ground floor of the Chamber building were packed with hundreds of people, then the public was directed to the second floor, where the Saleh Kamel Hall was filled to capacity, forcing the organizers to open another hall where the event was broadcast live.
