The Taif Municipality had previously removed four unauthorized structures in the neighborhoods of Al-Rehab, Al-Wasiliya, Al-Salhuj, and the New Truck Route in northern Taif (Route 100), covering an area of 1,500,000 square meters.

The Taif Municipality clarified that the number of illegal and unauthorized courtyards and rest areas removed reached 28, in addition to the removal of concrete and steel barriers that had been installed for the purpose of planning and unlawfully seizing government-owned vacant land.
