The head of the real estate association in Jeddah Governorate, Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Ghamdi, explained that the process of receiving checks from citizens wishing to enter the auction had begun early, and that each citizen was limited to buying only one piece of land so that the opportunity would be available to everyone. He pointed out that the real estate sector is one of the main sectors that has become a growing and significant weight in the gross domestic product year after year, which is evidenced by the percentage of real estate funds and the building of partnerships for real estate development, and by the distinguished location of the city of Jeddah as the gateway to the Two Holy Mosques, and it is witnessing a package of large projects.
Al-Ghamdi stressed the keenness of the real estate sector in this regard to be the link between citizens and the Jeddah Governorate Secretariat, expressing its great honor in taking on the tasks of organizing this auction in light of its goals aimed at improving the real estate environment, amidst the follow-up of His Excellency the Mayor of Jeddah Governorate, Dr. Hani bin Mohammed Abu Ras, to consolidate the sector’s message as a representative of the real estate sector and working to provide high-level services to the real estate community in order to contribute to achieving sustainable economic development for Jeddah, which is witnessing a population of more than 4 million people, which in turn reflects the importance of providing housing projects to accommodate this population increase.
