Sales from the public auction for the Al-Said development in Jeddah reached 40 million riyals, with 122 lots sold at the two-day auction organized by the Provincial Secretariat. The total area exceeds four million square meters, The Municipality limited each citizen to purchasing only one plot of land to ensure that as many citizens as possible had the opportunity to register for the auction
Ahmed bin Ma’ti Al-Hamrani, Deputy Secretary-General of the Jeddah Provincial Administration for Support Services and Chairman of the Auctions Committee, stated that the Al-Sa’id Project auction represents a significant step forward in conducting auctions that meet all requirements, thereby serving the real estate industry and advancing its development.
For his part, Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Ghamdi, Chairman of the Real Estate Sector in Jeddah Province, confirmed that the high turnout for the auction by citizens from various provinces and regions of the Kingdom was accommodated by 12 registration stations staffed by young Saudi professionals. He noted that the project, located east of the Makkah Jeddah Expressway and was subject to the real estate auction mechanism approved by the Emirate of the Makkah Region.
The auction saw widespread participation from citizens who competed to acquire plots of various sizes to secure suitable housing.
