God bless the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in its endeavors to privatize a number of public sector institutions, to enhance and raise the efficiency and productivity of the public sector, and attract more competencies and expertise to the public sector institutions that will be privatized, in implementation of the plans and programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and this will open a wide field for the private sector to participate with the public sector in the local economic market according to a partnership based on legal and technical foundations that achieve several gains for the state and the public and private sectors, and transfer the ownership of public state institutions to the private sector in light of the economic transformations the Kingdom is experiencing these days under our wise leadership and is in my view a positive step, when we are talking about
Here we emphasize that the positives generated by privatization are enough to stimulate the economic movement in the region, in addition to providing a new source of revenue, reducing government support and spending, raising the general level of services provided, providing new job opportunities for citizens, and liquidating loss-making government companies. The decision to privatize airports such as King Khalid International Airport and King Fahd Airport, two of the most important airports in the Kingdom, has already been taken, and the results of privatization will be positive, as it leads to higher operating efficiency and service level and eliminates all previous negative phenomena, thus reducing government spending on this sector.
<p class="p1We hope that the competent government authorities will continue to take positive decisions that will make our country one of the strongest countries in the world economically and influentially, such as the privatization decision, which is one of the decisions of maximum benefit, as the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - has been implementing many projects that serve the interest of the citizen and provide the appropriate climate for his well-being, the privatization project confirms our wise government.
The privatization project is far-sightedness of our wise government.
