“Al Hokair Group wins four tourism excellence awards at the 2018 Travel & Investment Forum

The “Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Forum 2018” awarded Al-Hokair Group for Tourism and Development four awards for excellence in tourism during the forum, which was organized by the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, for the eleventh year, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the Authority.

The group achieved this distinction with “Al-Hokair Time” winning in the entertainment center category, and the Abdulmohsen Al-Hokair Higher Institute for Hotel Training in Riyadh winning in the tourism training facilities category, and in the Business Center category, the Holiday Inn Business Center at Jeddah Gate – Jeddah won, while the “Golden Tulip Suites” on the Corniche – Al-Khobar received the award in the Furnished Apartments category.

For his part, Mishaal Al-Hakeer, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Leisure Sector, emphasized that this award holds special significance as it is a local award, and we are honored to receive the Saudi Tourism Excellence Awards, which serve as a benchmark for outstanding performance in the Saudi tourism sector, and a recognition of our commitment to excellence and improving the quality of services and facilities. Receiving this award affirms our standing in the Kingdom and strengthens our resolve to continue our work and contribute to the development of tourism in our country.

Al-Hakeer emphasized that the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage seeks to promote a spirit of competition among participants by encouraging the development and modernization of the sector, which is experiencing rapid growth in the Kingdom under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which is based on the premise that this industry is one of the main pillars in the Kingdom’s strategy to diversify sources of income and elevate tourism practices to achieve optimal investment in the management of tourism businesses and activities across all regions of the Kingdom.
