The Ministry of Housing announced the completion of the first phase of the Makkah Retaj project, noting that the reservations in the project so far have exceeded 25%.

Saif bin Salem Al-Suwailem, spokesperson for the Ministry of Housing, explained that the total reservations in the Rataj Makkah housing project since the announcement of the launch of the project earlier this month exceeded 1,200 housing units, thus completing the reservations of the first phase of the project, exceeding 25% of the total number of 4500 housing units, indicating that the second phase of the project has been launched and is available to beneficiaries.

Suwailem added that the total number of reservations in the project so far exceeds 25%. <Al-Suwailem added: “The Rataj Makkah project comes within a series of projects launched by the Ministry of Housing during the past period, through which it aims to pump thousands of housing units in various regions of the Kingdom, in order to meet the aspirations of beneficiaries of housing support and provide various options in terms of designs and models as well as spaces and prices,” stressing that the ministry continues to pump more units during the coming period in various regions of the Kingdom.

Suwailem added. He pointed out that in conjunction with this project there are 5 other projects in the cities of Riyadh, Jeddah and Medina, explaining that the booking rates in these projects are high and the demand for them is constantly increasing, as more than 70% of the two projects in Medina have been booked, and the first phase of the “Sunset Hills” project in Jeddah province has been completed, after more than 1000 housing units were booked in the project.

It is noteworthy that the project “Retaj Makkah” is located on an area of 1.3 million square meters and is characterized by its strategic location in the Nuraniyah neighborhood on the northern entrance to the holy capital, and comes in partnership between the Ministry of Housing and the private sector, and is characterized by its location within the urban area, and contains, in addition to residential units, 3 mosques, 2 mosques, 5 schools, 7 parks, children's playgrounds, and many commercial facilities, and many sites have been allocated to government agencies, including 4 sites for educational, health, security and other facilities, and the project includes multiple options in terms of areas, designs and prices, as residential units reach 225 square meters with prices starting from 419. 773 riyals, offering various options in terms of spaces, designs and prices,773 riyals, providing a variety of options for beneficiaries of the ministry's projects.
