The NEOM project management team announced on its Twitter account that it has received proposals for housing and offices for the engineers and supervisors who will begin work on the project, noting that it is currently working on developing the master plan and reviewing environmental assessments.

In its tweet, NEOM noted that the project relies on key elements that must be in place before implementation can begin, foremost among them being the foundations, plans, and human resources.

In another tweet, it added, «In NEOM, we are limited only by our imagination. NEOM is the project of the future—a destination for exceptional eco-vacations, an international airport, mountain resorts, a high-tech port and logistics facilities, advanced manufacturing, technology zones, and more.» Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced the city of Neom in October 2017 as a project linking Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan and serving as a future hub for all industries, technologies, and digital services.
