His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Riyadh Region, invited investors to invest in the region’s tourism accommodation sector, praising the support and organization provided by the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage in the Riyadh Region for hosting a large number of diverse tourism events in the region’s cities and provinces, in addition to seminars that bring together investors with tourism professionals, hotels, tourist accommodation facilities, booking companies, and tour operators. He emphasized the importance of the region’s provinces participating in tourism programs and events, and the need to operate tourist sites year-round, and investing in them in a way that contributes to providing more job opportunities for individuals, productive families, and artisans.

During a meeting in his office earlier this week, His Highness commended Engineer Abdulaziz Al Hassan, Director of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage in the region, for Riyadh Tourism’s efforts in marketing the region, particularly through the seminars it organizes that bring together investors, tourism professionals, hotels, tourist accommodation facilities, booking companies, and tour operators, and its role in promoting and developing the region’s tourism routes in collaboration with partners from government sectors, as well as its current and future programs, projects, and tourism routes to support and strengthen citizenship and a sense of belonging to this generous nation, emphasizing the importance of tourism and its various programs in supporting the national economy, as well as the importance of promoting the Kingdom’s cultural dimension through tourism programs and activities. Al-Hassan also reviewed the Authority’s projects, events, and festivals in the region, as well as its key programs and strategies.

The Riyadh region boasts more than 40,000 hotel rooms, making it a prime candidate to be the Kingdom’s leading region for hosting international and local conferences and exhibitions, in addition to the significant tourist, archaeological, and heritage sites found in the cities and provinces of the Riyadh region.
