The International Housing and Cooperative Housing Forum witnessed a wide and broad participation from inside and outside the Kingdom, where it discussed over three days seven themes through nine scientific sessions and workshops in which 35 speakers participated and attended by 482 participants from various sectors and specialties, in a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, the Ministry of Housing, the Cooperative Societies Council, the Islamic Development Bank, and in the presence of .converted-space"> H.E. the Minister of Housing, representatives from the Ministry of Labor, and a group of experts, real estate, academics, cooperatives and those interested in the real estate and housing sector from within the Kingdom and from different countries of the world.

The International Housing and Cooperative Housing Forum came up with several recommendations during its closing session related to cooperative affairs in the housing sector, as follows:
First: Review and study the various laws, legislations, regulations and procedures related to cooperative work and cooperative housing in order to contribute to the success of cooperative housing projects and programs. First.
Second: Emphasizing the importance of supporting the government sector represented by the Ministry of Housing to allocate and grant residential lands in favor of cooperative housing associations to implement housing projects and provide them to the target groups. Secondly.
Third: Working to increase financial revenues and ensure the flow of cash for all housing and cooperative housing initiatives and projects in order to contribute to their implementation.
