<The General Entertainment Authority successfully participated in the first Marketing Forum, which was launched the day before yesterday under the title “Marketing as an engine and catalyst for creative ideas”, and included 8 discussion sessions, 6 workshops and 4 accompanying events, during which the most important challenges facing the marketing sector in the Kingdom were reviewed, and the importance of the role of this sector in achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030. A number of speakers from the two sectors (public and private) and elite from the academic field participated in the forum.The forum aimed to contribute to contributing to the realization of the Saudi Vision 2030. <The forum aimed to contribute to the development of theoretical and applied marketing content, and to be an incubator platform for academics and professionals working in the field of marketing. The forum witnessed the honoring of a number of partners and sponsors participating in the forum, as the General Entertainment Authority was honored as a success partner of the forum, and the shield was received by the Director of Public Relations at the Authority, Mr. Saad Al Ahmari.
Survey on spending on entertainment options
Engineer Ahmed Al Sharqi, Executive Director of Sector Development at the General Entertainment Authority, explained during his participation in the forum that there is a partnership agreement signed with the General Authority for Statistics to conduct a statistical survey on spending on entertainment options next March. Al Sharqi stressed that work in the Entertainment Authority is in full swing to localize local spending, saying: ”This is the role of the content unit in the Authority, which also includes creating jobs and supporting establishments, so plans and initiatives have been developed to achieve these goals.”The shield of honor was presented by the Director of Public Relations of the Authority, Mr. Saad Al Ahmari. <Al Sharqi pointed out that the Entertainment Authority has defined the definition of entertainment and what it is, based on international definitions, explaining: “The Authority identified seven sections in entertainment, including live shows, nature, electronic games, sports and others, and then determined the infrastructure and the target goal in accordance with the nature of the Kingdom,“ he added: ”To fill the existing gap, cooperation with other agencies was carried out with the aim of achieving entertainment with international standards.“

Providing entertainment options
During his participation in the ”Government Marketing Experiences" session, Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa, Director General of Communication, the official spokesperson of the Authority, presented a working paper in which he discussed the experience of the General Entertainment Authority in this sector, which is still considered newly established in the Kingdom, and reviewed the role of the Authority in the growth of the entertainment industry by organizing and developing the entertainment sector and providing various entertainment options that suit different segments of society in all regions, and the Authority used quick solutions through festivals, live shows and theaters.He also explained the work of the Authority in providing entertainment options. <He also explained that the Authority's work is integrated with other government agencies working within the Quality of Life Program, such as the Sports Authority, the Culture Authority, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and others, and the Authority works with regional secretariats and security authorities to maintain security at the events held.
