The Ministry of Justice confirmed the completion of its readiness to move to the electronic real estate deed, which will replace the paper real estate deed in any new real estate transaction during the first three months of 2020, and the ministry explained that it has completed the final procedures for dealing with the electronic deed, noting that the beneficiary will receive text messages with the data of the real estate instruments with an electronic link to the Najez portal, as there is one secure digital wallet that collects all the properties of the beneficiary.

The Minister of Justice and President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Sheikh Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani, had directed the transition to the electronic real estate deed during the first quarter of 2020. This is to improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, increase their reliability, and eliminate paper transactions, which supports the ministry's goals in the electronic transformation of documentation services.

The Ministry of Justice continues the process of digital transformation of notarization, which was launched in early Rabi'I 1440, when the e-Wakala was announced, to continue to achieve the goals that support the directives of the National Transformation Program contributing to the achievement of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, based on facilitating services for beneficiaries and reaching operational spending efficiency for government facilities; with the Ministry's keenness to re-engineer and simplify procedures and seek to make them fully digitalized.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry has made it possible to inquire electronically about real estate deeds through the Najez portal for individuals, while the business sector can benefit from it through the "Wathiq" platform, in cooperation with "Thiqa" company, and the government sector by linking with the "Yesser" portal for government transactions.
