The Medina Municipality approved 14 new urban development plans in Medina during the second quarter of 2021, covering a total area of 1,497,000 square meters.
The plans provide a total of 3,078 residential units of various sizes, 16 schools at various educational levels, 5 kindergartens, as well as 13 industrial facilities, 14 public parks, 25 mosques, 7 health centers, and government facilities.
The approval of the new residential plans contributes to the development of Madinah’s infrastructure, meets the demand for housing units, improves residents’ quality of life, and supports urban expansion programs as well as Madinah’s environmental and economic development plans, as well as expanding residential areas for the region’s residents and providing all necessary services to accommodate the expected population growth in the coming period.
