“Trade” announces the issuance of the executive regulations of the Chambers of Commerce Law

Majid Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce, announced the issuance of the executive regulations for the Chambers of Commerce Law in support of entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises.

The regulations include exempting all commercial enterprises from chamber membership fees for the first three years of their existence, in addition to reducing membership fees for the following two years.

They also eliminated the requirement for multiple membership fees within the Chamber of Commerce, allowing for a single membership fee regardless of the number of branches.

The minister confirmed the adoption of governance regulations for chambers of commerce, the promotion of transparency in their operations, and a mechanism for measuring and evaluating their performance.
