The Housing Program announced that the Makkah region is currently seeing the implementation of 25 housing projects providing more than 68,000 units under construction as part of the Housing Program in partnership with a number of private-sector real estate developers, as part of the program’s ongoing efforts to provide diverse housing options and financing solutions that meet the desires and needs of Saudi families, in order to achieve the goals of the Housing Program—one of the programs under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 —to increase the homeownership rate to 70% by 2030.

The program explained that these projects are located in Makkah, Jeddah, Taif, and Rabigh to boost the residential real estate supply and provide high-quality housing units with a variety of options—including apartments, villas, and townhouses—at affordable prices, They can be reserved and viewed via the “Sakani” website and app, or by visiting the link.
17 projects in Jeddah
The Jeddah Governorate accounts for the largest number of projects, with 17 projects comprising more than 56,000 residential units, the majority of which are located within the Al-Mayyar Residential Suburb, where the completion rate has exceeded 75% and which offers approximately 20 ,000 residential units across an area of 3.9 million square meters, and the Al-Jawhara residential district, where project completion rates have reached 85% and which offers 6,980 residential units across an area of 2 million square meters, as well as the “Khayala” suburb, which includes a number of distinctive, high-quality projects. The remaining projects are distributed across strategic locations in central and northern Jeddah.
The city of Makkah is home to three projects under construction that will provide 5,607 residential units in strategic locations along major and central roads within the boundaries of the Grand Mosque. These are: “Ritaj Makkah,” ”Al-Ma’isim,” and ”Jawharat Al-Rasifa,” which offer a variety of modern options and designs of high quality at affordable prices to meet the needs of Saudi families.
Taif Projects
The Taif Governorate is currently seeing the implementation of three residential projects under construction in partnership with the private sector, comprising 5,819 housing units in strategic locations within the governorate, namely: “Taj Al-Maseef,” ”Al-Fath,” and ”City of Roses,” while Rabigh Governorate includes two housing projects: “Diyar Rabigh” and ”Al-Shorouq,” which provide 629 housing units.
Through its website and mobile app, the Housing Program offers a range of housing options and services via user-friendly online procedures with immediate eligibility, including the ability to browse diverse housing options across 106 projects offering more than 146,000 housing units, as well as 223 residential plans providing more than 180,000 residential plots, request price quotes, accessing real estate advisory services, selecting model designs for self-builders, obtaining building permits electronically, accessing online financing, and other services.
