In 10 diverse tracks, The Saudi Contractors Authority launched the first edition of the 2021 Excellence in Contracting Awards, which opened its doors for registration and continues until January 30, 2022.

The initiative aims to highlight the innovations of the local industry, develop and prosper the contracting sector in the Kingdom, motivate and support workers in the sector, and work hard to raise the standards of award eligibility, as it is subject to evaluation criteria with local and international expertise that aims to raise the level of participation and provide best international practices in this regard.

The award includes several tracks under the following categories: (Best Contractor, Best Project, Best Factory, Best Entrepreneur, Safety and Health, Human Capital Development, Best Leader, Best Innovative Company, Innovation, Digital Transformation). The Authority has also allocated three separate awards aimed at encouraging contractors to benefit from the services provided by the Saudi Contractors Authority, organizing the sector and developing its employees, including: (Academy Programs Award, Advisory Services Award, and E-Contracts Award).

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Contractors Authority, Engineer Zakaria Al-Abdulqader, stressed that the work and initiatives undertaken by the Authority in an effort to achieve successes and contribute to the development of the contracting sector; and to achieve the requirements of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
