The Saudi Council of Engineers has launched the “Standard Contract Authentication” service which enables individual and institutional users to electronically notarize their contracts with engineering service providers free of charge, as part of its ongoing efforts to improve its services, achieve advanced levels of performance, and enhance the engineering sector in the Kingdom.

Engineer Abdulnasser Al-Abdullatif, Secretary General of the Saudi Council of Engineers that this initiative, which the Council has worked on in collaboration with relevant authorities will significantly contribute to improving the efficiency of engineering transactions. It also offers professional benefits, most notably reducing disputes and conflicts by formalizing contracts, ensuring both parties" compliance, enhancing reliability and transparency, protecting the rights of contracting parties, and facilitating the formalizationand standardizing contract formats to ensure their development and sustainability, thereby promoting the growth of services in the engineering sector.
