The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Pavilion concluded its remarkable participation this year at Arabian Travel Market, which was held in Dubai for four days starting from May 9, during which the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), together with a record number of 29 partners, succeeded in highlighting the treasures of Saudi tourism, its diversity, depth, and tremendous opportunities, in addition to the success of the exhibition In addition to the success in reconnecting and reaffirming the commitment with tourism makers and major international companies, by holding more than 4,000 meetings and concluding more than 90 partnership agreements and memorandums of understanding; establishing a renewed phase of cooperation and integration; contributing to the stability, growth and sustainability of the tourism sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
<On this occasion, Mr. Fahad Hamiduddin, CEO and Board Member of the Saudi Tourism Authority, said: “The Kingdom enjoys the trust of the tourism industry and major international companies, which is reflected in the volume and quality of the agreements and memorandums of understanding that were concluded this year, as the Authority seeks to empower its private sector partners by participating in important international forums to forge partnerships with prestigious brands such as travel agencies, hotels, tour operators and tourism services,” added the CEO: “SCTA continues its efforts to attract, welcome and invite travelers to enjoy the natural and cultural diversity, explore unique destinations and inspiring experiences that can only be found in Saudi Arabia, with the hospitality and warmth of the authentic Saudi society, and international and quality events held throughout the year in all regions of the Kingdom.” <The Saudi pavilion at ATM announced a number of new programs, agreements and partnerships this year. Saudi Airlines launched its in-flight entertainment system Beyond, which provides more than 5,000 hours of content in high definition and quality, the Diriyah Gate Development Authority launched the first educational art center dedicated to digital arts, and the Royal Commission for AlUla launched the first training program for travel and tourism agencies around the world to help attract tourists to explore the open historical museum in the northwest of the Kingdom. On the West Coast, Saudi Cruise announced its achievement of exceeding its 2023 targets and its intention to open the ports of Duba and Jazan, aiming to attract 1.3 million passengers by 2030, and the Red Sea Company announced the opening of parts of its mega project by the end of this year and the delivery of 800 residential units during 2023-2024.
