The Mana, Jazan Region has announced 28 completed and ongoing projects in Farsan Islands Governorate, at a total cost of (546) million riyals, as part of a package of development projects aimed at improving the governorate’s infrastructure to strengthen its position as a preferred destination for visitors and investors.
The completed projects included 19 municipal projects worth 398 million riyals, comprising 14 municipal projects worth 48 million riyals, as well as two investment projects costing 70 million riyals, including the construction of the Farsan Hotel and industrial projects in Farsan, in addition to three housing projects worth 280 million riyals.

Nine (9) ongoing projects worth 148 million riyals are currently being implemented, including nine (9) municipal projects worth 68 million riyals, an investment project to build the Al-Harid Resort at a cost of (40) million riyals, as well as a residential development project worth (40) million riyals, which includes the construction of a housing complex comprising (92) residential units.
It is worth noting that the Farasan Islands represent a significant investment opportunity; the Municipality is working to encourage local and international investors to participate in the development of this tourist destination, create new job opportunities, and boost the local economy—all of which benefit residents and enhance the islands’ appeal as a world-class tourist destination, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
