Next Wednesday marks the end of the second phase deadline

The countdown has begun for the end of the registration for the second phase of the unregistered land fees in Riyadh, which ends on Wednesday, June 15—that is, in 3 days—  The program clarified that after this deadline, more than 20 million square meters of developed land in the city of Riyadh—from among the plots identified by the program but not registered by their owners—will be registered in coordination with the municipal authorities and the Ministry of Justice.

Use of Vertical Construction

The program expects to make available approximately 60,000 plots of land with an average area of 350 m², with each plot potentially containing more than one residential unit, or larger plots comprising clusters of residential units in vertical construction, which could add hundreds of thousands of residential units to the real estate supply in Riyadh.

The program indicated that Riyadh accounted for the largest share of the total undeveloped land registered in the program among other cities, with the program recording approximately 100 million m² of land currently under development or subject to fee collection.

Phase One in Al-Qassim and Ha'il

The White Land Program announced that it is nearing completion of the regulatory procedures necessary to launch the first phase in the cities of Al-Qassim and Ha'il, in accordance with the results of demographic and economic studies conducted by the program in collaboration with relevant authorities. This is part of efforts and objectives to increase the supply of developed land in cities with the highest demand, thereby achieving a balance between supply and demand, providing residential land at affordable prices, and combating monopolies.
