The Saudi Authority for Accredited Appraisers (TAQEEM) has postponed the deadline for completing the requirements for obtaining the fellowship certificate, previously set for August 15, 2022, to October 15, 2022,   It has also postponed all work by the committees related to implementing the procedures applicable to holders of provisional basic membership.

This decision was made during a meeting between the Authority and the National Evaluation Committee at the Council of Saudi Chambers. Topics discussed included: (cancellation of membership due to failure to obtain the fellowship certificate, the requirement to obtain a university degree, the difficulty of proving professional practice through social insurance, lack of awareness regarding the importance of the profession, the absence of an information platform serving residents, and the need to establish a mechanism to increase the number of specialized courses).
