The Ministry of Justice completed 30,000 electronic discharge procedures during the first half of 2022, as via the Najiz portal , noting that the upper limit on the value of properties that owners wish to discharge electronically has been raised from three million riyals to 20 million riyals.

The Ministry stated that real estate transfers are available electronically around the clock, following simple and straightforward steps that allow the seller and buyer to complete the transfer procedures and agree on the details of the sale automatically—without the need for certification by a notary or public notary—in less than 60 minutes.

The Ministry has also launched a service to verify bank account ownership, in addition to verifying payment of real estate transaction tax, The Ministry affirmed its commitment to continuing to enhance technology, provide the best innovative digital solutions to serve beneficiaries, and streamline their procedures.
