Residential program issues 16,044,000 electronic contracts for free land

The Housing Program issued 16,044 thousand through its mobile app electronic contracts for free residential land to families benefiting from the program from the beginning of 2022 through the end of last August, in preparation for beneficiaries to begin construction. This initiative is part of the diverse housing options and financing solutions offered by the program to facilitate first-time homeownership, with the goal of raising the homeownership rate among Saudi families to 70 percent by 2030, in line with the targets of the Housing Program, one of the programs under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

In a statement, “Sakani” explained that the land contracts covered 3,914 plots in the Makkah region, 3,577 plots in the Riyadh region, 2,535 plots in the Eastern Province, 1,218 plots in the Qassim region, 1,192 plots in the Najran region, 964 plots in the Jazan region, and 864 plots in the Asir region, 727 plots in the Ha’il region, 497 plots in the Madinah region, 153 plots in the Northern Border region, 195 plots in the Al-Baha region, 112 plots in the Al-Jawf region, and 96 plots in the Tabuk region.
