The Secretary of the Holy City, Dr. Osama Al-Bar, a presentation on the Al-Bayda Model Village project to the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of the Makkah Region, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal. The project is planned for the region to provide housing for approximately 2,000 citizens, and is characterized by providing a healthy environment for residents.
The project is being carried out in partnership with the King Faisal Charitable Foundation, which oversaw the site and conducted studies on it in cooperation with the Emirate’s Development Agency. It includes the construction of charitable housing, and model villages that provide housing for those in need in the villages and towns under the jurisdiction of the Makkah Region Emirate.
It is worth noting that the first phase of the model village will provide charitable housing comprising more than 300 residential units. Plans for the project’s implementation also include training the village’s residents for work and securing job opportunities for them.
