The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Water and Electricity for Electricity Affairs, Dr. Saleh bin Hussein Al-Awaji, stressed that the estimated volume of investments in the electricity and water sectors in the Kingdom during the next ten years reaches 800 billion riyals, pointing out that this puts the ministry in front of more challenges with the volume of spending. <This came during the opening of the 11th Saudi International Exhibition for Water, Electricity and Power Generation, organized by Dhahran Expo at its headquarters in Dammam. Participants in the events will discuss solutions and treatments for the most prominent challenges in the electricity and water sector, where companies review the technical challenges they faced during their work in the most important cities in the world where they implemented their projects, and the exhibition reviews the achievements made by the Kingdom related to the development and development of power generation in its portfolios and the Gulf countries, in addition to a number of technical and economic issues, and work to serve a large major market for energy exchange in the region through policies, programs and information exchange related to development, to face major challenges and develop the electricity and energy sector.
