The 7th annual Young Businessmen and Women Expo 2015, which kicks off tomorrow, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of the Makkah Region, and under the slogan “Our Youth… and Blessings,” at the Jeddah International Center for Forums and Events, more than 30,000 visitors, with the participation of 250 young business leaders.
The Chairman of the Young Entrepreneurs Committee at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, Engineer Muhammad Suwailah, expressed his gratitude to His Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal for his patronage of the Youth Entrepreneurship Exhibition, which reflects His Highness’s interest in young male and female entrepreneurs and his strong commitment to providing direct support to this group.
He emphasized that the exhibition highlights the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s commitment to empowering young people in the economic sphere and its dedication to supporting them as their role has grown in recent years, given that they constitute an important segment of the local investment environment, as well as integrating them into economic circles, raising their level of investment literacy, sharing various experiences, and empowering them to play their role effectively.
Engineer Suwailah noted that the exhibition’s activities will include providing advice and consultations to entrepreneurs on matters that serve young people, each according to their area of expertise and field of work.
It is worth noting that the Young Businessmen Committee of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry encompasses a number of professions, including real estate, restaurants, food services, advertising, electrical goods, women’s apparel, construction, urban development, real estate, interior design, furniture, and finance.
