Under the guidance of Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Authority, the Authority’s Riyadh branch reviewed the current state and future of the sector in the market, as well as mechanisms for its development and growth to meet expectations. This took place during its first meeting with a group of representatives from tourist accommodation facilities in the region, as part of a workshop on communication with partners.
The meeting included a discussion of the branch’s vision regarding furnished residential units, a presentation of its development proposals for the lodging sector, as well as soliciting feedback from accommodation providers on the services offered by the Authority aimed at developing the sector and working to promote job localization opportunities in the tourist accommodation sector.
For his part, Engineer Abdulaziz Al Hassan, Director General of the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities in the Riyadh region, said that the meeting aimed to strengthen the spirit of cooperation with the Authority’s regional branch partners, by addressing issues specific to tourism establishments and working to provide all services and facilities necessary to support and develop tourism establishments in the Riyadh region.
Al Hassan added that a range of topics aimed at supporting the sector and overcoming obstacles to providing all services required by tourists were raised and discussed.
