The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones “MODON,” in the 2015 Investment Opportunities Forum and Exhibition, sponsored by His Highness the Governor of the Riyadh Region and organized by the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce from 15–17 Rajab 1436 AH at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. During the forum, “MODON” presented a visual presentation in which Eng. Tariq Al-Shehib, Director of Business Development at the Authority, highlighted the most important non-industrial investment opportunities in industrial cities, highlighting a number of promising opportunities in the areas of service and support investments for industry and other sectors, such as residential complexes for workers and families, restaurant complexes, commercial complexes and business centers, medical complexes, banks, hotels, supply, transportation, and storage services, and other logistics opportunities. He also highlighted “Madin” projects such as industrial incubators and prefabricated factories that “Madin” has begun constructing throughout the Kingdom.
For his part, Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Husseini, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at ”Madin,” that the Kingdom’s industrial cities have attracted investors and entrepreneurs, bringing the total number of factories to 5,600 spread across 34 industrial cities in the Kingdom. He noted that this steady growth has bolstered development in the Kingdom’s regions and created job opportunities, in addition to contributing to the localization of modern manufacturing technologies and the diversification of the Kingdom’s exports, as well as creating an attractive, integrated environment for large, medium, and small enterprises.
The opening ceremony included an honor for His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Riyadh Region, “Madin,” for its participation in offering multiple investment opportunities. Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Husayni, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at ”Madin,” accepted the award on behalf of the company.
