“Dour Hospitality” Strengthens Its “Makarim” Brand in the Holy Cities

The company “Dor Al-Dhaya” has strengthened its leading operational brand, Makarem, in the Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah, during a ceremony to launch its new identity at the Arab Travel Market at the Dubai Exhibition and Convention Center. 600 million riyals will be allocated to develop 10 hotels in Mecca and Medina, several of which will be operated by Makarem, a hotel chain specializing in serving the holy cities.

On this occasion, Dr. Hamad Al-Sama’il, Acting Vice President for Investment and Tourism Development at the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities, praised the presence of the “Makarim” brand, which specializes in providing authentic Saudi hospitality to visitors to the Holy Cities, is a source of great pride for us, especially since Makarim Hotel embodies religious values and Saudi hospitality in a modern setting.

For his part, Dr. Badr Al-Badr, CEO of Dor Hospitality, stated that the religious tourism market in the Kingdom is continuously growing, as statistics indicate that the number of visitors to Mecca and Medina is expected to reach 25 million by 2025, especially following the completion of expansion works in the Holy Sites area. It is our duty as a Saudi brand specializing in hospitality to set high standards for hospitality in the Kingdom in line with the best international standards, The launch of Makarem’s new brand identity aligns with Dor’s strategic shift toward investing in hotel and real estate development, as well as hotel operations, with an investment of over 1.5 billion riyals to expand hotel development in the Kingdom, bringing the total to 20 hotel properties and 6 residential complexes over the next 7 years.
