The first trade show dedicated to the tile, ceramics, and stone industry kicks off today in Dubai and will run from May 18–21, 2015, at the Dubai World Trade Center. As part of the “Middle East Stone” will feature free seminars covering more than 40 aspects of continuing professional development, with certificates awarded to attendees on the latest designs, technologies, testing and maintenance methodologies, and trends in the global stone industry. These sessions will be presented by a group of leading experts and specialists at the local, regional, and international levels.
The event will feature more than 230 exhibitors from 22 countries showcasing over 5,500 products as part of the region’s largest collection of marble, stone, and ceramic products, which will help experts and professionals in the fields of architecture, design, and construction select the best materials and products for their projects.
Reports indicate that there are more than 10,000 projects under construction or in the design and planning stages in the Arabian Gulf region; the value of the marble, stone, and ceramics market is expected to reach $5.4 billion this year, according to a report by «Ventures Middle East.» The «Middle East Stone Show» will provide key players in the construction and building sector with valuable insights and information on the latest trends in the industry.
