His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region, was briefed yesterday evening on the investment opportunities offered by the Investment Offering Initiative, its locations and the job opportunities it creates for young men and women, and its treatment of development issues in Madinah, such as finding alternative sites for workshops and housing for workers outside the city to improve their quality of life and help improve their performance and rid the city of social issues caused by their presence among residents.

The initiative is offering 111 bids and more than 2,200 investment units that provide more than 8,000 job opportunities for Saudi youth on an area of more than four million four hundred thousand square meters with more than 56 different activities between small, medium and large investments.

On this occasion, Engineer Khalid Taher, Secretary of Medina, delivered a speech in which he stated that the initiative comes from the directives and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Medina and Chairman of the Investment Council in the region, to fulfill the basic and recreational requirements of the residents and visitors of the city of Medina.

Taher said that by offering these opportunities, the Municipality aims to drive economic development in the region through investment opportunities that rely on the city's assets and employ its status among Muslims, in addition to providing self-sufficient sources of income to cover the expenses of Title III (operation and maintenance) and then to finance Title IV development projects.
