The Real Estate Developers Services Center “Etmam” during the third quarter of this year, with 24 residential plans approved, totaling over 39 million square meters in area. This is an extension of the ongoing efforts by the Beneficiary Services Center “Etemam” to facilitate real estate development.

Partnership with service providers

The increase in the number of approved plans is the result of a mature partnership with service providers and owners of real estate development-related services through an integrated platform that meets all the needs of real estate developers; in line with Etam’s objectives to improve the sector’s performance, increase its contribution to GDP, expand the real estate supply, and enable citizens to access suitable housing; to raise homeownership rates to 70% in accordance with the targets of the Housing Program —one of the programs under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Building Permits and Developer Support

In this context, the Center issued permits for the construction of 14,746 housing units through the third quarter, bringing the total number of permits to more than 71,000 housing units, and qualified 2,768 real estate developers, bringing the total number of qualified developers to 6,619, and finalized registration approval requests for 6,592 workers in housing projects being implemented by real estate developers in partnership with the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, The center also processed 22 inquiries regarding the validity of deeds through its system, in addition to providing support to 51 developers and finalizing licensing procedures for 50 off-plan projects.
