The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, represented by the Off-Plan Sales Program, participated in the recently held Abha Real Estate and Financing Solutions Exhibition, to visitors at its booth the projects overseen by the Ministry—which include more than 17,000 real estate units across various regions of the Kingdom, with an estimated value of approximately 20 billion riyals— It also explained to visitors the procedures required for off-plan sales licenses for undeveloped land and licenses for marketing real estate abroad, as well as the display of off-plan real estate units at exhibitions.
It is worth noting that the exhibition was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid, and was opened on his behalf by the Deputy Governor of the Asir Region, Sulaiman Al-Jrish, under the supervision of the Abha Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the participation of more than 40 national companies from within and outside the Asir Region, as well as a number of banks and financing companies.
The Ministry’s participation aims to raise awareness of the program, which regulates off-plan sales to foster trust and security among parties, protect buyers’ rights, and encourage new investors to enter the market.
