<Within the framework of its efforts to stop encroachments on government lands, the Shuqiya Sub-Municipality in Makkah removed 50 buildings, buildings and sheds that were built in random ways and without legal deeds, with the participation of a number of administrative control personnel and members of the security authorities. The municipality took all measures to ensure that they do not recur. M. Mamdouh Iraqi, mayor of the municipality, stressed that there are directives issued to follow up these violations and remove any encroachments on public lands and property, indicating that the municipality has intensified field teams that work to monitor all neighborhoods and residential plans in these areas to curb the spread of the phenomenon of encroachment on government lands.
