RevealedThe “Sakani” Program that 148,876 Saudi families will benefit in 2022, from all housing options and financing solutions that the program offers electronically to its beneficiaries, through simple and accessible procedures, while the number of Saudi families who moved into their first home reached 158,855.
This comes as part of the program’s efforts to support beneficiaries in achieving the objectives of the Housing Program—one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030 – by raising the home ownership rate for Saudi families to 70% by 2030.
The “Sakani” program in a statement that the number of households benefiting from the options and solutions it provides to beneficiaries last December reached 10,404 Saudi households, while the number of families who moved into their first home that same month reached 9,422 Saudi families.
“Sakani” offers new optional support packages as part of its solutions and options for Saudi families, bringing the total number of housing and financing options to 9, including the new packages (Upfront Support Package, Rent Package, Furniture Package, Self-Build Package, and Home Renovation Package). These packages provide beneficiaries with flexible and diverse solutions, by providing immediate, non-refundable support to beneficiaries of ready-to-move-in units, units under construction, and self-build projects, in partnership with the Real Estate Development Fund and financing entities such as banks, financial institutions, and real estate developers.
He noted Sakani Program as a reflection of “Sakani’s” belief in the continuity of housing support and the importance of diverse financing and housing options to accelerate the pace at which Saudi families own their homes.
The “Sakani” website and app offer a variety of housing facilities and services, including real estate advisors, issuance of real estate transaction tax certificates for first homes, obtaining quotes from financing institutions, electronic issuance of land contracts, access to architectural design services and ”Certified Contractors,” electronic financing services and the ”Real Estate Market,” as well as immediate registration and eligibility, and the electronic issuance of building permits.
