Jeddah Meadows to accommodate 83,000 people and 42,000 housing units in 134 suburbs

<During its participation in the mobile exhibition organized by Jeddah Municipality to reflect its achievements and projects, Jeddah Development and Urban Development Company revealed the modern city project «Jeddah Meadows», which contains 42 thousand housing units distributed over 134 residential suburbs accommodating about 83 thousand residents, supported by all social and recreational services. The project aims to transform the area into an eastern corniche of the city through a harmonious work with the western corniche, create an outlet and a place for recreation, sports and tourism for the residents of Jeddah, increase the green areas in the area, stop encroachments on government lands to be used for public benefit and benefit from the projects that will be established to be a place to train students on wildlife and wildlife and its components.

The Secretary of Jeddah Governorate explained that the project will be supported by all social and recreational services.

Jeddah Governor Dr. Hani Abu Ras explained that the development project of Wadi Al Asla (Jeddah Meadows) east of Jeddah Governorate is located on an area of up to 130 million square meters east of the governorate and contains all the elements that present a new vision for the region, including places for recreation, parks, nature reserves, educational, health and sports facilities based on a sustainable infrastructure, It also offers multiple investment opportunities that provide thousands of job opportunities for young people, and includes a package of municipal services such as parks and green spaces that are commensurate with the number of residents expected to be attracted by the project.

<According to project officials, Jeddah Meadows will provide 12,000 job opportunities for young people. The project includes a number of projects such as Eastern Forest A and 2, Safari Park, National Park and Farmers Village. The project also includes a clubhouse, a horse racing track with an area of 1.5 million square meters, areas for residential lands estimated at 22 million square meters, universities, health centers and three main stadiums for sports clubs.

The sources expected one million visitors to visit the site within three years, stressing that the number will increase to more than three million visitors annually within 20 years.
