176 kilometers and 85 stations

The most prominent elements of the pavilion include the placement of a large satellite image of the city of Riyadh in the form of a glass panel on a large part of the pavilion floor, explaining the train and bus routes in the city, and six lines lit in the colors of the train routes, each of which ends at the corner of the consortium that implements the route, in addition to a seventh line that connects to the pavilion of the consortium implementing the bus project, and the main train stations and station levels that varied from above ground level to ground level and below ground level.

<On a huge television screen, a large number of visitors gathered to watch the work of the giant train drilling machines, including the "Dhafra" machine, which won the admiration and surprise of the audience and attracted the lenses of photographers, and the length of one of them ranges between 90 and 120 meters, and can drill at depths of up to 30 meters safely underground and does not affect the structure, and neighbors do not hear noise or vibrations and perform many tasks, including: Moving soil, building tunnel walls and laying railroads inside the tunnels.

The Ministry of Transport presented its achievements in various ways, including photographs and models. The road projects embodied a great challenge to the strength of will and determination in their implementation to link the different cities and regions of the Kingdom despite their distances and extremities. The Ministry also reviewed its future projects, vision and upcoming plans in the development of the transportation sector with all its facilities and services because of its great impact on economic and social development.

The pavilion reflected the role of the Corporation in contributing to public transport projects, as it has established a strategy and partnership with the Saudi Railways Company (SAR) to establish the Technical Institute for Railways (SARB), equipped with the latest training facilities, laboratories and simulators at a high level of training and operated by a specialized British educational institution ”TQ“. This is in addition to the large training opportunities provided by the Corporation to the transport sector through its institutes and specialized centers.

The group shared models and information about the large transportation projects it is implementing, including new airports in the Kingdom and railway projects related to the transportation of industrial and commercial products. It also highlighted its achievement represented in the King Fahd Bridge linking the Kingdom and Bahrain, and gave visitors the opportunity to learn about its highway projects, for which the towering mountains and paved valleys were constructed to stand as a witness to the strength of the company's capabilities and the patience of those in charge to overcome difficulties and tame the impossible.

<The company's participation in the exhibition as a specialized and pioneering company in the field of paints, pushing the product (Al Jazeera Afro) for roads, which passed the most durable and long-lasting Type III according to federal standards, to (Al Jazeera Afro Pavement), which is characterized by high aesthetics, color stability and clarity, to (Al Jazeera Afro Safety, which is used for concrete barriers to warn of road hazards, Al Jazeera Afro Safety Reflective, which is reflective at night to warn of road hazards, and this product and the previous two products have excellent UV resistance, and Al Jazeera Afro Fluorescent, which glows day and night and is used on barriers, poles, and in parking lots, Al Jazeera Afro Luminous, which glows for hours in dark places, for use in tunnels, parking lots and emergency exits.

Saudi Mass Transit Company

For its part, the Saudi Mass Transit Company (SAPTCO) reviewed models of its buses and passenger transportation and their service in the Riyadh Metro project. SAPTCO showed the language of numbers that confirm the company's leadership in providing its services that lasted more than 37 years, with a capital of 1.25 billion riyals contributed by 40,000 shareholders, 165 agents and 7,000 vehicles that stop at 13 stations owned by the company, all these figures led to the transportation of more than 2 billion passengers.
