The Ministry of Justice revealed that the rate of mortgaged properties documented by Notary Offices reached 147 mortgaged properties per day, noting that the number of properties mortgaged during the first eight months of the current Hijri year reached 35,326.

Notary offices in the Riyadh region led the number of mortgaged properties, accounting for approximately 56 percent of the total with 19,786 properties, followed by the Makkah region with 4,174 properties, then the Eastern Province with 3,430 properties, the Qassim region with 2,156 properties, Madinah with 1,599 properties, and the Asir region with 1,551 properties, the Ha'il region with 904 properties, Tabuk with 531 properties, then Al-Jawf with 348 properties, the Northern Border region with 326 properties, and Jazan with 312 properties.

As for Al-Baha, the number of mortgaged properties there has reached 150 since the beginning of the current Hijri year, followed by the Najran region with 17 properties.
