Auctions to sell 12 sites in Jeddah's new crusher complex announced

<The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has set May 8 as the date for the start of the electronic auction for the 12 building materials quarry sites in the new Jeddah Crusher Complex in the Makkah region, which was announced earlier this year and qualified 40 companies to compete for it. Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources spokesperson Jarrah bin Mohammed Al-Jarrah explained that the bidding will be for each of the twelve (12) sites separately in the new Jeddah crusher complex, noting that the ministry will hold a virtual workshop in early May to explain the electronic auction mechanism for the 12 sites.

The ministry aims to develop procedures for obtaining building materials quarry licenses, enhance transparency and justice in the issuance of mining tenders, support investors, promote investment in the sector, encourage national industries, and contribute to the development of local content.
