Ensuring employee health and safety
The company's Occupational Health and Safety Department is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all employees and ensuring that their activities do not put anyone at risk. The Emergency and Disaster Management Program of the Occupational Health and Safety Department also ensures effective response to all emergencies at all its construction sites, in cooperation with the relevant authorities.In a global testament to the excellent management of the project, the international accreditation body TUV Austria, which specializes in testing, inspection, conformity and quality, recognized that Diriyah's OSH management system is fully compliant with ISO 45001 standards and that there are no conflicts between the two. The Quality of Life Program adopted by the General Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety has established a set of internationally recognized standards for worker welfare that all main contractors, subcontractors and companies operating in Al Diriyah Company must adhere to. This is confirmed through monthly inspections carried out by company representatives, and if necessary, adequate corrective measures are taken within four weeks from the date of issuing the inspection report.
