Jabal Omar Development Company (JODC) has been crowned with the MEED Award for the best construction project of 2015 at the level of the Kingdom and the Gulf region, for the company's success in finding creative engineering solutions that were used in the completion of “Phase 1” of its giant project next to the Grand Mosque on the fourth day of Ramadan, corresponding to the twenty-first day of June 2015.

M. Samir Al-Qurashi, Executive General Manager of Jabal Omar Development Company, expressed the company's pride in winning this award, especially since MEED Construction is one of the most reliable sources of business information and is a global company specialized in evaluating companies.

Al-Qurashi attributed winning the award to the tremendous efforts and intensive work exerted by Jabal Omar Development Company, under the supervision, follow-up and support of Abdulrahman Abdul Qader Faqih, Chairman of the Board of Directors, to whom many thanks and fragrant praise for the success achieved, through which he extends deserved thanks to the work team in the first phase for their high professionalism in performance through full coordination at the highest levels and with all internal and external stakeholders.”

. <It is worth mentioning that “Phase One” of the Jabal Omar Development Project consists of ten towers with five international hotels, namely: Hilton Suites, Hilton Convention Center, Marriott Hotel, Hyatt Regency and Conrad Hotel with a total of 2,750 rooms.
