More than 69,000 real estate deed in Riyadh, Comprehensive System “Electronic Deed” Since the beginning of the current Hijri year, accounting for an estimated 36.3% of the total number of old handwritten deeds that have been updated, amounting to approximately 190,700 real estate deeds.
The Asir region ranked second with 21,986 deeds, followed by the Eastern Province with 21,459 real estate deeds, then Makkah with 19,441 real estate deeds, the Al-Qassim region with 11,775 real estate deeds, followed by the Hail region with 11,616, then Al-Jawf with 8,405 deeds, and finally Madinah with 6,508 real estate deeds updated to the comprehensive system.
The number of deeds updated in the Jazan region’s notary offices is estimated at 6,055, followed by Tabuk with 3,937, the Najran region with 3,871 updated real estate deeds, and Al-Baha with 3,532 deeds.
Notary offices in the Northern Border Region recorded the lowest number of old handwritten deeds updated to the comprehensive system (“electronic deed”), with 2,907 deeds converted to updated electronic format during the past period.
