The The General Real Estate Authority real estate brokers and all real estate service providers to to comply with the Real Estate Brokerage Regulation and not to violate it, and to familiarize themselves with the violations to avoid penalties, which include warnings, suspension or revocation of the license, or fines of up to 200,000 riyals, emphasizing that the imposed fine may be doubled if the violation is repeated within three years of its commission, and the law’s implementing regulations have specified the classification of violations and the penalties prescribed for them.
The Authority continues its oversight and compliance efforts regarding the Real Estate Brokerage Law through four main channels: the Authority’s field inspection teams, which verify the compliance of establishments“ operations and the legality of real estate advertising signs; inspection campaigns in which it participates alongside relevant authorities to address violations related to Saudization, front companies, or the legality of business premises, in addition to electronic oversight targeting online channels and real estate platforms to verify the compliance of advertisements and digital brokerage practices, and the process of responding to reports submitted via the Authority’s platform.
