Saudis close 999 real estate deals in Dubai worth 3.2 billion dirhams

During the first half of this year, Saudis completed 999 real estate transactions worth 3.2 billion dirhams, ranking fifth, while Emiratis ranked first with 2,130 transactions worth 11.5 billion dirhams, followed by Indians with 7.8 billion dirhams, British nationals with 4.7 billion dirhams, and Pakistanis with 3.3 billion dirhams.

The Dubai Land Department stated that the number of investors in the emirate’s real estate market reached 19,840, representing 142 nationalities, during the first six months of this year.

A report issued by the department stated that the total value of real estate investments for the first half of 2015 reached 53 billion dirhams, a decline of 14% compared to the first half of 2014.

Foreign investors played a major role in real estate investments in Dubai during the first half of the year, with their total investments reaching 30 billion dirhams, representing many different nationalities.
